Open House and Informational Sessions

The Signature Programs provide Real World Learning opportunities for students as outlined in the district’s Strategic Plan. Real World Learning opportunities prepare students for college and careers. Real World Learning is the connection between classroom learning experiences and the application of knowledge and skills in a realistic setting with guidance and mentoring of business and industry partners. Together, we are equipping our learners and communities to thrive in a rapidly changing, increasingly connected and complex world.

Interested in enrolling in one of the Signature Programs or finding out more about a specific course? Watch the videos below from each of the courses.

Students interested in enrolling in courses at the Center for Academic Achievement or Career and Technical Campus should contact their school counselor. Families new to the district should review the SMSD Enrollment Information page.

The school district accepts part-time students from private or other non-SMSD schools as space is available. Call or email Mary Hendrick, administrative assistant at maryhedrick@smsd.org or call 913-993-8728.
