About

The Center for Academic Achievement (CAA) and Career and Technical Campus (CTC) serve as innovative, Real World Learning campuses for students in the Shawnee Mission School District.

Center for Academic Achievement
The CAA opened in the Fall of 2017, and is a unique campus serving students in Signature Career and Technical programs while also supporting the administrative offices for the Board of Education and District administration.

The CAA is also home to the award-winning Broadmoor Bistro and Broadmoor Urban Farm.  The unique urban farm concept was initiated by the students and faculty in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality program. Students and the community benefit from the Farm to Table experience where students cultivate fresh food.

Career and Technical Campus
The CTC serves students in the Project Blue Eagle Signature Programs with a focus on law enforcement, fire science and EMS.

Both campuses welcome business and community partners to enrich our students in experiential, real-world learning. Discover what we do. Create new and innovative opportunities for teaching and learning. Connect with faculty and staff.  Engage in helping grow the future for our learners.

Discover. Create. Connect. Engage.
